WPGM Previews: Live At Leeds 2024

Live At Leeds marks the beginning of the UK festival season. The full line up for Live at Leeds In The Park is here and it is complete with an exciting mix of up and coming and ready established names. It’s not long to go until the festival returns for it’s third year Temple Newsam in Leeds on May 25.

Kicking off the UK festival season the event from Leeds-based promoters and Yorkshire’s largest live music brand Futuresound gives us names such as local artist The Cribs and Corinne Bailey Rae along with headliners The Kooks.

There are also sets from much loved artists such as Declan McKenna, Sea Girls, Circa Waves, Melanie C and more. Emerging talent on the line up includes Courting, and Glaswegian up and coming artist Dylan John Thomas.

The festival has become a key day in the festival diary of indie-lovers with last years line up Two Door Cinema Club, DMA’s and more gracing the five Live at Leeds stages. The day will take place across five unique stages, each with it’s own line up.

The Cockpit main stage will host the likes of loved artists The Kooks, Declan McKenna, Sea Girls – who are set to release their third album Midnight Butterflies in June, Baby Queen and upcoming talent such as Dylan John Thomas. The CLASH Big Top (partnered with CLASH Music) will see the likes of The Cribs and Future Islands taking to the stage.

Liverpool born band Circa Waves – who have previously played Live at Leeds:In The City, the partner festival later on in the year will headline The Temple stage (the stage named by Live at Leeds fans online) with artists such as Mystery Jets and The Academic completing the stage’s schedule.

The DIY stage (in partnership with DIY Magazine) features well loved female artists such as Caity Baser, who is fresh off her huge UK tour, Orla Gartland along with Nieve Ella. Finally the DORK Hype Stage (in partnership with DORK) will be home to exciting new acts such as Hotwax, Seb Lowe and the winner of the Apply to Play competition Velkro.

When speaking about the complete line up Live At Leeds: In The Park, Festival Promoter Joe Hubbard said: “Wow. We can’t believe that we’re but a couple of months away from the return of Live At Leeds: In The Park, and we couldn’t be more excited to get back to Temple Newsam with our biggest and funnest lineup to date.

Really capturing what Live At Leeds is all about whilst making the show accessible to as many people as possible has been really important for us, and this year’s party is already guaranteed to be a cracking one! The orders for suncream are already in, we’ll see you there!”
