WPGM Reviews: Cloud X Festival 2022 (In Pictures)

Cloud X Festival made its return on August 7 after a triumphant, sold-out debut last year. One of London’s most exciting boutique festival came back in full strength at East London’s Studio 338 to celebrate quality music in the capital with a range of incredible artists including Biig Piig, DJ Spinall, Felix The 1st, Jojo, Nayana IZ, Sam Wise, Santino Le Saint, Sasha Keable and Scuti.

Co-founded by David Dabieh and Ben Cross, Cloud X Festival has become an integral part of the city’s independent music scene through its events, label, and management team, providing a much-needed space for underrepresented artists. They are unmatched in their passion and approach to everything they do with a genuine love for nurturing artists and communities from the ground up.

Cloud X Festival have never limited themselves to one genre and this year’s lineup proved that, with Biig Piig performing her adaptive take on hip-hop, pop and neo-soul, while FelixThe1st fulfilled on his promise to deliver one of his trademark high energy performances.

South London songstress Sasha Keable also came through with her jaw-dropping vocals and unique soundscape, and fellow South London native and UK alt-rap artist Sam Wise delivered an unmissable live set for the ages, with Nigerian tastemaker DJ Spinall taking over the garden terrace stage.
