WPGM Previews: Titan Festival 2022

On Sunday, August 21, music lovers will be gathering at the beautiful Copthall Playing Fields in North West London for the 2022 Titan Festival to celebrate global music and culture. Brought to you by the creators of the 51st Festival, this inaugural festival is set to feature artists and DJs from around the world and across multiple musical universes.

The line-up on Titan Festival’s main stage will be led by iconic Black Music legends, including ’90s and ’00s hip-hop and R&B artists from the US such as headliner T-Pain, as well as Lloyd, Bobby V, Jon B, J Holiday, Lumidee, Shontelle and Fatman Scoop.

They will be joined by top UK DJs, including Kiss FM & ITV’s Shortee Blitz, DJ Charlesy, Larizzle, Scottie B, DJ Silk and DJ Longers. All all in, Titan Festival will house 70 amazing artists and DJs across seven stages and tents, with the main stage focusing on the headliners.

The different festival stages will deliver the best in underground sounds within hip-hop, soca, amapiano, and afrobeats, with festival organisers designing the Titan 2022 festival layout to showcase the best of these genres and add many more facilities on-site to create a unique party vibe for festival goers.

As mentioned, the Titan Festival headline act is none other than Grammy Award-winning R&B legend T-Pain. The man responsible for certified Noughties hits and dancefloor classics such as “I’m Sprung”, “Bartender”, “I’m In Luv With A Stripper” and “Buy U A Drank” will be performing in one of his first UK shows in over five years.

Performing alongside T-Pain, will be chart-topping US R&B singer and actor Lloyd. The award-winning star will be performing hits from his six studio albums, including the top 5 smash hit single “Dedication to My Ex (Miss That)”, “Southside”, and several other classic songs.

Also performing on the Titan 2022 star-studded main stage is Naughties R&B singer Bobby V, who will be delivering his classic hits, including the UK top 5 hit single “Slow Down”, as well as his numerous Top 40 hits such as “Tell Me” and “Anonymous”.

Critically-acclaimed R&B Singer-Songwriter Jon B will also be taking to the Titan Festival mainstage, and performing hits from his three platinum projects, including the R&B anthems “They Don’t Know”, “Are U Still Down”, and “Don’t Talk”.

Other top stars gracing the Titan Festival stage will be US R&B singer J Holiday who will perform his UK top 40 smash “Bed” and more. In addition, Lumidee will be performing an exclusive set at the festival that will include the UK top 5 single “Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)” and her Top 40 hit “Crazy”.

Keeping the throwback feel-good vibes of the festival going, Bajan R&B songstress Shontelle will also be at Titan Festival 2022 performing all her hits, including the UK Top 10 smashes “T-Shirt” and “Impossible”, but that’s not all; last but not least, the international party rocker Fatman Scoop will be flying in from the US this summer to perform his UK #1 hit “Be Faithful”!

Alongside dozens of artists from around the world, some of the UK’s hottest underground parties will be holding court at Titan Festival 2022, including Hip-Hop Brunch with Shortee Blitz, Socaholics with Teddyson John and Travis World, Raindrop Fest with Boiler Room’s Joce Wavy, Dankie Sounds with Larizzle, and Access All Areas with woman of the moment Leiyah.

The likes of DJ Silk, DJ Longers, Anna-Marie, DJ Scottie B, Chuckie Online and Tazer Black will also be entertaining revellers all day long across the festival’s seven action-packed stages.

The festival will also cater for fans outside of the music offering, with artisan food vendors on the day serving cuisine from the Caribbean, Africa, and all over the world, as well as theme park rides and game areas to deliver life experiences for revellers to remember.

Titan Festival 2022 tickets are available from just £30 with limited early bird tickets, with VIP tickets also available from only £45.
