WPGM Reviews: You Me At Six Live At Alexandra Palace (In Pictures)

We were able to capture You Me At Six on the final night on their UK leg of the tour for their new album Truth Decay, and they truly crafted an amazing night for their fans at the outstanding Alexandra Palace or more lovingly, calling Your Ally Pally.

If you’ve never been and can’t imagine the scale of this venue, I think Awsten Knight from Waterparks summed it up when he brought the lights up over the crowd that he felt that the back of the crowd was “a mile away” but he could still feel their love.

They had an amazing support lineup: Waterparks, The Maine and Bear In The Wood. The evening started at 6:30PM and with this many support acts and very little time in between, the concert was a jam-packed event, almost feeling like a little festival lineup.

Also, there were so many surprises throughout the night, like The Maine bringing out Charlotte Sands (who even knew she was in the UK at the time, complete surprise), and You Me At Six bringing out special guest Rou Reynolds from Enter Shikari to join them for “No Future? Yeah Right” from the new album.

The evening felt like nothing was missing, the bands gave 100%, and it was moving for the fans. It was the perfect venue, support line up and special guest for the final night of the tour.

It felt like this new album is a coming home for You Me At Six, and their supports were perfectly paired for this tour too. Basically, they knocked it out of the park, and we are looking forward to seeing them perform at Reading Festival.
