Best New Music: GNGR – How Much I Love [WPGM Premiere]

Introducing the London-based R&B singer and songwriter GNGR and her brand new song “How Much I Love” featuring Samuel King, which is premiering here on We Plug Good Music, and we are very excited to be sharing this mesmerising track.

“How Much I Love” is a combination of the smooth and soulful instrumentation and the singer’s beautiful vocals. The music expresses a dreamy vibe, allowing the listener to sink into it immediately. The Sampl-produced single definitely takes influences from the R&B genre, including artists such as Destiny’s Child and Frank Ocean.

The music and lyrics both succeed to express the core message of “How Much I Love” which is the passionate and deep love the artist had shared with a significant other. The beautiful love between them allowed her to heal and develop self-worth. GNGR sings about a love that no words or actions could ever describe how much of a positive impact it made on her life.

“How Much I Love” draws us into her world and allows us to experience this beautiful phenomenon with her. An emotion that we all can somehow relate to.

Speaking to WPGM, GNGR shared her journey while creating this amazing song:

I was in an incredible relationship with someone who loved me in a way that I had never experienced love before at the time. I was in the studio and Sampl my producer started building the track and when I went in to record, the words just flowed out so naturally, this wasn’t actually ever going to be a single for me but I loved the track so much and, Samuel King is a very good friend of mine, I knew that he would be the finishing touch to make this beautiful single”.

The rising R&B singer will grace us with a lot of single releases throughout the year. But until then we can dive into the world of GNGR and her song “How Much I Love”.
